 MULTI-TABLE NO-LIMIT GAME
Multi-Table No-Limit Texas Holdem is similar to Single-Table Texas Holdem poker, apart from the only feature: there can be a hundred of tables, each occupied by approximately nine or ten gamblers all playing to make one final table. This is exactly the format of the World Series of Poker or the World Poker Tour. The total of everyone's entry fees is what forms the considerable gains, which can be observed at many of the televised Texas Holdem poker tournaments. The fact that bets and raises are not limited sometimes is sweat-breaking for players and is always exciting for spectators.
No-Limit tournaments are very different from No-Limit ring games. Bluff is not playing the leading role here anymore because people's stacks are usually smaller than the size of the pot. And since the amount of chips, which can be won from a bluff is less than the amount, which a player can loose, bluff becomes rather a insecure option.
Nowadays Multi-Table No-Limit Poker is mainly played in the tournament form. |
