MULTI-TABLE LIMIT GAME
This variant of the game is not the most popular one because many people are afraid of the fact that there is too much luck involved. Nevertheless Multi-Table Limit Holdem has always had its fans and still has.
The limit Texas Holdem cash games range from 5c-10c limit up to $30-$60 limit at most sites. The game differs from No-Limit Texas Holdem poker by the fact that the players are limited to what they can bet. For example, in a 10-20 game, the most one can bet pre flop is 10 dollars, and the most one can raise anybody is again 10 dollars. The players can bet once and raise thrice during each betting round (after the flop the minimum bet goes up to $20).
In most Limit Texas Holdem poker games only two or three players remain by the time the river is turned. Still it is very easy to be outdrawn by one of the opponents left. The reason it's hard to get rid of people in a Limit game is because one is not able to distort the pot odds by managing the amount of his or her bet, as in No-Limit Texas Holdem poker. |
