World Poker Tour’s last event finished with the clear-cut victory of Tuan Le, who won a top prize of $2.9 million in the battle with Paul Maxfield in the final event.
He defeated more than 450 players and made ample amends for his buy-ins. Paul Maxfield was the second and won $1.7 million. Hasan Habib, whose rating descended from the second place last year, though he won about $900,000, occupied the third place. John Phan, the winner of the Commerce Casino Tournament, came in fourth with the reward of about $518,000. The EPT winner Rob Hollink occupied the fifth place with about $377,000.
The tournament event was broadcasted live, and only some chosen people could see it from a ballroom at Bellagio's new hotel tower, with several hundreds near the room competing to get in.
The final event will be broadcasted June 29 by the Travel Channel.
