Thief that robbed the shop and stole a pile of lottery scratch tickets was arrested recently in Wareham, Massachusetts. He deprived several very lucky winners of the reward in Texas Hold’em Poker scratch game.
The stolen tickets included the winning ticket for $4 million – what a reward, huh? – and a reward of $25,000 and some lesser winnings. The company, which is responsible for the lottery, invalidated the tickets so that neither the robber nor the real winner can claim the reward! So, the burglary action can be regarded completely useless – apart from the seizing of a robber who won’t disturb the peace and quiet of the neighbors. Hope he knows now that being like a dog in the manger is no good. The name of the hapless robber isn’t disclosed and the investigation continues.
