Strange things occur to Texas Hold’em. While in other states it is restricted in every way or prohibited, in Minnesota it was recently allowed. Moreover, poker tournament is organized and state senator will host it.
Specific steps were made for legalizing poker games. They are now allowed in bars, though with some restrictions – hosts must not receive profit from the play directly and no gambling for real money is allowed. Also, prizes cannot exceed $200.
Nevertheless, it seems that hold’em starts the triumphant motion towards total permission here, in the state. Above-mentioned tournament will be held at the same place where a hold’em game was raided last year, and this can be called an indicator.
