Illegal poker games need good disguise which won't be revealed by the police. The idea can be good but ineffective. For example, recently one more poker club has been revealed - it was under the cover of a soccer club. About 70 people were taken to the prison and charged in Clifton, New Jersey.
Recently the police organized a round-up and raided the club which was located in one of the shopping centers. Six dealers and three managers were accused of supporting and promoting illegal gambling. They can receive up to 5 years sentence. Some of them were called to account before. Only two players were arrested on warrant charges, others were simply questioned and checked.
It was a select club. Only the members with the club cards could enter it. The club was equipped with several poker tables, cards and multiple chips. The players left more than $10,000 every day. The day of the raid was profitable to the house - the confiscated sum amounted to $60,000.
This is not the first and the last raid and arrest - the police always have work to do. But from year to year it becomes more difficult. Let's wish luck to the players and far-sightedness to the police.
