While some states fight for no gambling in the pubs, Arizona dwellers organize National Pub Poker League. This league was filled by 450 players recently and seems to develop.
450 people recently joined the League for a game of Texas Hold'em at more than a dozen establishments in Tucson, Arizona. The tournament didn't acquire any money contributions - only playing for chips. The players have nothing to lose - only gain - fun, excitement and experience. Several clubs host poker games several days a week. The League provides everything that is needed for the game - tables, cards, chips and, of course, players and qualified gaming. All needed from bars is a bartender which will serve drinks.
The atmosphere during the game is similar to the real one in the casinos - same rules, same environment, same feelings. It attracts more and more players and raises interest to the game - so it looks like poker won't end its days somewhere in the cellar in the company of drunken card-board dwellers.
