Poker tournaments are involving more and more people of different statuses and genders. The students are not the exception.
2nd Annual College Poker Championship unites college poker players and gives a $41,000 academic scholarship to the best of the best. Students from all over the world participate in it and fight for the prize pool of $135,000.
Top students that play in the Super Satellites receive the scholarship of $500. 10 best students will get a $1000 donation which they will spend on any charity or organization they choose. The champion receives $41,000.
The tournament is free, and the participants have to be the students of a university or a college. If they are graduate school or are the community college students they have a possibility to participate.
Online Super Satellites are held every Sunday till May 8, 2005. Future participants can sign on anytime. The final online will be played on May 22, 2005.
