Arrests for poker games become a usual practice in the USA. 5 more people were charged and arrested in Chalmette, Alabama.
Two bar operators and three card dealers were called to account by the state police in connection with a poker tournament in which the bar allegedly was taking a cut of the fees paid by players to participate.
The state officials warned the bars about responsibility for holding the Texas Hold'em tournaments, because they increase indirect profit of the bars through increased beverage sales. Nevertheless, the bar held a tournament and additionally to profits from beverage sales kept an amount from initial entrance fees.
