The first online radio show was launched to cover World Series of Poker.
Online poker boom has swept America off its feet. Everyone, including the celebs, just keep on playing. That is how it happened that Major League Poker together with The Gambling Club Online Poker decided to launch the first online radio show for all sorts of online poker players. The new event is called “On the Felt” and is hosted by Mark Arum, a radio personality and a card player.
“On the Felt” gives its listeners an excellent coverage of what is hot and what is not in the world of poker. Moreover, the show is interactive and encourages the listeners to give the opinions, email the studio, and even suggest topics to be discussed.
The greatest part is that you can listen to the radio while playing, i.e. you learn the news and improve your poker skills at the same time. The idea is just fabulous, as most of the listeners remark.
Online poker TV would surely distract players from the game, but online radio show strikes right home.
The show was already used to cover World Series of Poker this July. Owing to the success of the show had in this respect, the producers now have far-reaching plans for the rest of the 2005 and 2006.
The show is available 24/7 at the Gaming Club Poker Website.
