Eight people were arrested during the police raid in Lexington, Kentucky. An operation, which had been prepared for several months, finished successfully this week.
Two months ago someone called the police and complained about gambling somewhere in the town. Prepared round-up led to arrest and charges of eight people and confiscation of poker and blackjack tables, surveillance cameras and monitors, not to mention about approximately $25,000 in cash. About 29 people were interviewed by the police officers and were let go on the four winds.
The investigation is ongoing.
