Now poker can be considered as a game not only for income, but for assistance to others. The first charity poker tour – Small Town Poker tour – held a press-conference in London recently. Mark Fracalossi, the host and executive producer, answered the questions of journalists.
The tour will start in late spring 2005 going through Europe and USA. It will be shown on TV.
The tour’s goal is to expand people’s vision to one of the most popular and developing game – Texas Hold’em. It is assumed that the main attention will be directed to people and unique locations.
Since tour is beneficent, assistance of local charity societies is welcomed. The dates and exact places are said to be announced later.
Anybody can take part in tour and donate money, so different unbelievable combination of partners can appear – old lady, young stylish lady and a business at one table. All the money will be spent on charity. Organizers hope this tour will bring diversity and entertainment to small towns and collect some money for honorable aims.
Let’s wait and see how all goes. It is expected to be successful.
