Cherokee Casino Resort in Oklahoma raised the age limit from 18 to 21 years. The decision was dictated by the report where it was noted that there were only 3% of customers aged 18-21.
It appeared that majority of the customers during the day are mature people who come here to relax and spend some money. After school day ends, the contingent dilutes with the young people. Resort owners decided to raise the age limit and tighten the visitor checking system. Another reason for raising is that the casino serves alcohol beverages, and bartenders must be sure that the clients are of legal age.
This measure isn’t considered to influence the resort attendance – there are clubs and restaurants where youngsters and kids can come with their parents that are over 21 without a problem.
