The last raid of Virginia police revealed more than $2,000 in cash not counting the poker equipment and helped to disclose a group of students who regularly played poker in the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. The university officials hope that it was just the one case not a tendency.
The guilty students received the conditional release and 50 hours of community service; the dealers and the ally who found the apartment were fined from $400 to $1,000. All students confessed their guilt. The instigator of the game will come up for trial of the grand jury.
The police regard this case is not the sign of illegal gambling splash. Nevertheless, they took it with all solemnity. The attorney of the students will litigate the decision and will do everything to qualify the severity of the sentence.
