Disconnections
Though we live in the era of technological breakthrough, our machines are still far from ideal. Even your new computer can sometimes experience problems. Thus, when you play online poker (or do anything else online) you can find yourself being disconnected.
That might happen due to different reasons. The first is your provider. It either has some problems of just disconnected you because you’ve downloaded to many mp3 files and movies and do not have any traffic left. The other possible reason is problems on the poker site itself.
So, no matter what the reason is, you find yourself disconnected. If you were just watching the game, you just curse and begin playing as soon you are connected again. But what happens if you had some money in the pot? They will wait for about 30 seconds. If you still do not respond, there are several options. You may set to be all-in each time you are disconnected. The other option is to just fold the hand.
So decide what is better for you and choose the right option before you start playing. But if disconnections happen to you too often, ask the site support or your provider for help.
